For authors
Accepted Paper Submission Guidelines
Final submission deadline: 1 May 2013. Authors revised accepted papers and uploaded a PDF version of their camera ready paper.
General instructions
- Language: all manuscripts were to be in English.
- File format: a PDF version of the camera ready paper.
- Paper length: page limits were 12 pages for regular papers and 7 pages for research in progress papers. These limits included all text, figures, tables and appendices, but excluded the cover page, abstract, keywords and references. Small departures from these guidelines were acceptable.
- Page setup: A4 portrait with a 2.54cm (one inch) margin on all sides.
- Title page: each camera ready manuscript needed a title page showing the title of the paper, the information of all authors and the abstract.
- Page numbering: page numbers were to be omitted.
Paper guideline
Papers were submitted online using the same paper ID that was used for the original submission. Authors could edit and modify the submitted paper until the submission deadline and were responsible for ensuring the text contained no typos or grammatical errors. If the paper template was not correct, the secretariat could ask the authors to modify the paper. No proofreading was carried out, and no corrections were possible after the submission deadline.
Authorisation form
A standard authorisation form had to be filled, signed and returned for each accepted paper. Only the principal co author needed to sign. The PACIS 2013 conference committee assumed that the signing author had the authorisation of the remaining co authors. The signed form was uploaded together with the camera ready manuscript.
Authorisation form: PDF version or MS Word version. The camera ready word template is also available as MS Word.
Integrity and withdrawal
Scholars submitting camera ready manuscripts attested that they had read the AIS Code of Research Conduct and that the submitted work was in accordance with the code in all respects. Papers that failed to follow the instructions were removed from the programme and the conference proceedings.
To withdraw a paper, authors were asked to notify the PACIS 2013 secretariat in writing as soon as possible. If the presenting author of an accepted paper did not register by 5 May 2013, the paper could be automatically withdrawn from the final programme.
Questions were directed to the PACIS 2013 Conference Secretariat. See also the notice on accepted paper submission.
